Original Film

Shilah Phillips and Shade DuBois have been spinning their creative wheels for their original film project. The film is a tribute to Shilah's fathers birth country Sierra Leone SL, a war torn country plagued with diamonds and disease. In the middle of Freetown, the countries capitol city, lies one of the oldest cotton trees in recorded history. This tree is where the Krio (returned slaves from America) had their first thanksgiving in a free country.
